Terms of Service
Last updated October 12, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and PoseCall (“we”, “us”) about your use of our scheduling services: PoseCall, for live models at art schools, and Accompanist Call, for accompanists in music departments (each a “service”). The same terms apply to both. By signing in or using either service you agree to them. If you use a service for a school, department or other organization (a “school”), you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.
1. What the services do
Accompanist Call lets a school's faculty build class, rehearsal and performance schedules and ask the accompanists they want to play; the accompanist accepts or declines each call. It applies the rules the school chooses, such as yearly and weekly hours limits and a cancellation cutoff, and records hours that staff confirm afterward.
PoseCall does the same for live model sessions at art schools: a school posts sessions and models book them, first come, first served.
Both are scheduling tools. They are not payroll, timekeeping or human-resources systems, and they do not give legal or employment advice. Each school remains responsible for its own employment, payroll and work-hour obligations and for checking that the rules it sets are the right ones.
2. Accounts
- You sign in with a code we send to your email address. Keep access to that mailbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- Give your real name and an email address you are allowed to use.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use either service.
- A school's administrators decide who belongs to that school and in what role, and can remove people from it.
3. Schools, trials and fees
- Each school uses one service and pays for that service only. A campus that uses both has a separate subscription for each.
- A new school starts with a free trial of 14 days.
- After the trial, a Accompanist Call subscription is one price per school: 1 year for $199, 3 years for $499, 5 years for $799. Prices for a new term may change; a term already paid for does not.
- We issue an invoice for the plan the school chooses. Payment is by check unless we agree otherwise, and is due by the date on the invoice. The paid term is the service period shown on the invoice.
- If a trial or paid term ends without payment, the school has a short grace period and then becomes read-only: nothing can be booked or scheduled until it is paid. We do not delete the school's data when this happens.
- Fees already paid are not refundable, except where the law requires or we agree in writing.
- The school is responsible for any taxes on its purchase, other than taxes on our income.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use a service for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm anyone;
- try to see or change another school's or another person's information without permission;
- probe, overload or disrupt a service, or get around its security or its booking rules;
- use automated tools to book sessions, answer calls or collect information;
- resell a service or give others access through your account.
5. Your information
A school owns the scheduling information it and its members put into a service. The school gives us permission to store and process that information only to provide and support the service. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. A school is responsible for having the right to add the people it invites, and for the accuracy of what it enters, including any notes or links to music it shares with accompanists.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep both services available and accurate, but we do not promise they will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paying school gets, we will tell its administrators in advance.
7. Ending use
- You may stop using a service at any time. A school's administrator may ask us to close the school and to delete its information.
- We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts a service or other people at risk.
- For 30 days after a school asks to leave, we will provide an export of that school's hours on request.
8. Disclaimers
Both services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Hours and limits shown depend on what people enter and confirm; a school should not rely on a service alone to meet a legal or contractual work-hour limit.
9. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about a service is limited to the amount the school paid us for that service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some laws do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If a school is a public institution whose own law requires different governing law or venue, that law applies to the extent required.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for material changes, tell school administrators by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use a service after that means you accept the updated terms.
