Accessibility

Accompanist Call is built so that accompanists, faculty and administrators can use it with a keyboard, a screen reader, screen magnification, or a phone. This statement covers both of our services, PoseCall and Accompanist Call, which share the same design and are tested the same way.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we design to WCAG 2.2 Level AA where we can.

What we do

How we test

Every screen is checked with automated accessibility tests (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules) in light and dark themes at desktop and phone widths. Automated tests find only some barriers, so a full review by keyboard and with screen readers comes next, before we publish our Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT) for schools. Email us to ask where it stands.

Tell us about a problem

If something in Accompanist Call is hard or impossible for you to use, email scheduler@posecall.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and the browser and any assistive technology you use. We will reply and work on a fix.If you need to answer or cancel a call in the meantime, the faculty member or your school’s administrator can help.
